Which membership to choose – DCP or NCM?

In preparation for the integration of gas trading into the European Energy Exchange (EEX) platform in 2025, GET Baltic gas exchange invites its existing and future customers to start preparing for this change now.

In a few weeks time, GET Baltic will be able to provide you with all necessary documents to become a trading participant at EEX.

In addition to membership at EEX, admission to clearing at European Commodity Clearing (ECC) is also required. In its role as a central counterparty, ECC positions itself between the seller and the buyer and assumes the counterparty risk.

Exchange participants can choose between two ECC membership models:

• NCM (Non-Clearing Member)
• DCP (Direct Clearing Participant)
