Regional Baltic Gas Exchange – Energy Project of the Year

GET Baltic which together with the regional partners implemented unique regional gas trading platform with integrated trading model have won Energy Project of the Year nomination at the annual National Business Award ceremony. Implementing unique regional gas trading platform with integrated trading model GET Baltic has established Latvian and Estonian market areas and de facto became regional Baltic Gas Exchange.

An integrated trading model has created favorable conditions for increased market liquidity, contributed to increasing competitiveness and creating a transperant natural gas prices. From 1 July 2017 using this GET Baltic technological solution, natural gas along with gas transportation between the Baltic States can be purchased with one click of the “mouse”.
